Inter could welcome a new signing in the form of Aarhus defender Yann Bisseck in the coming days, although the 20-year-old still has to complete his medical before signing his contract.

Bisseck has been on international duty with Germany during the U21 Euros, but because of his nation’s exit at the competition’s group stages, the countdown to his unveiling as a Nerazzurri player may have decreased.

The towering centre-back is currently on holiday following a long season for club and country, but according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, he could arrive in Milan on Tuesday with an announcement to follow after the completion of his medical.

Inter have agreed to stump up for Bisseck’s release clause of €7m, which they will reportedly pay in two instalments 12 months apart.

Bisseck will become Inter’s fifth official signing of the summer, following the acquisitions of Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi, as well as the permanent signings of Francesco Acerbi and Kristjan Asllani, who spent the 2022-23 season on loan at San Siro.
