Brahim Diaz has been enjoying life with Stefano Pioli’s Milan this season and Real Madrid have been satisfied with his development in the Lombardy capital.

The 23-year-old Spanish midfielder initially joined the Rossoneri on loan in September 2020, impressing enough to earn another two-year loan spell with the Milanese outfit the following year. With only half a season left on his deal with Milan, questions are starting to be asked about the future of Diaz.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan and Real Madrid will sit down at the end of this season to discuss the future of Diaz. The current loan deal has a €22m buy option attached with a buy-back option set at €27m.

The two clubs, who are on good terms, are confident that all parties can be satisfied in their meeting and there is optimism surrounding things in Italy and Spain.

Diaz has scored four goals and provided one assist in 13 Serie A appearances this season.

  1. We need someone more reliable and productive than Diaz, while CDK “comes of age”, and Krunic ain’t it. So yea, I’d send Brahim back and find an alternative.

  2. 100% keep for me. That price is a steal in todays market and he had been back in good form before the WC. Can play right or centre too and Pioli likes versatility.
