With only a year left on his Inter contract, this summer will certainly prove decisive for Stefan de Vrij, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

The 30-year-old Dutch centre back joined the Nerazzurri in 2018 after his contract expired with Lazio and he went on to become a key figure in the Lombardy capital, proving himself a top defender. De Vrij remained a starter this season under Simone Inzaghi but is no longer considered unsellable.

Tuttosport highlights how Inter are open to selling De Vrij this summer amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United. The Nerazzurri would want around €15-20m for the 30-year-old’s signature, but so far no concrete offers have arrived yet.

Should no convincing offers arrive at all this summer, Inter would look to sit down with De Vrij’s entourage and discuss a possible contract renewal.

De Vrij has made 164 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri since his arrival in 2018, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
