What’s next for Gianluca Scamacca at West Ham? According to Italian sources the Azzurri striker has two options to replace his former agent, Alessandro Lucci.

Scamacca’s former representative said on Tuesday that “There was no longer the necessary trust for a healthy and professional relationship.”

Despite the player expressing a desire to continue working with Lucci, World Soccer Agency announced that it “formally ends its working relationship with Gianluca Scamacca,” with immediate effect.

Lucci and his agency were pivotal in bringing Scamacca to West Ham from Sassuolo in a €36m deal in the summer transfer window of 2022.

Since his arrival in London, the 24-year-old has registered seven goals across 24 matches in all competitions.

However, Scamacca’s form has dwindled over the course of the season, largely due to a recent knee injury, and opportunities in David Moyes’ starting line-up have become few and far between.

His last appearance in claret and blue came in mid-January, coming off the bench in the first half of West Ham’s eventual 1-0 loss to Wolves.

Michail Antonio and Danny Ings have been the preferred options in attack in the matches since.

However, there is still interest from a number of agencies who would be willing to add Scamacca to their books.

According to reports on Calciomercato.com, one of the frontrunners to land Scamacca’s signature is Stellar Group, who boast an impressive list of clients from across the globe.

England internationals Jack Grealish and Jordan Pickford, plus Sofyan Amrabat and Wojciech Szczesny in Serie A as well as Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga are all signed to the agency.

Beppe Riso, who knows Scamacca personally since his days in the Lazio youth ranks, is also interested in signing him to GR Sports.

A potential change in representatives could also spell a change in clubs, with a return to Serie A after just one season in England apparently being of interest.

Among the interested parties is Milan, who are currently assessing their striking options ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

The Rossoneri had the option to bring Scamacca to the Giuseppe Meazza for a much lower price tag whilst still tied to Sassuolo a few years ago.

West Ham will be reluctant to part ways with Scamacca, unless a substantial offer comes in to offset The Hammers’ €36m investment last summer.

Sassuolo will also be entitled to 10% of any future sell-on fee.

Scamacca’s current deal at the London Stadium runs until the end of the 2026-27 season, with the option of a further year.
