Milan star Rafael Leao was sure he’d score against Switzerland and was seen smiling even before the ball went inside the net.
The Rossoneri striker scored his second goal with Portugal on Tuesday, finding the net with a trademark right-footed curler in a 6-1 win over Switzerland.
He was so sure the ball would go in that he was seen smiling as soon as he made the shot.
Milan will meet their star once he returns from Qatar, hoping to finalise a contract extension. His current deal at San Siro expires in June 2024 and according to reports in Italy, both parties are willing to reach an agreement.
