The agent of former Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar insists it is too soon to say where his client will be playing his football next season after QPR’s relegation.

The Brazilian international has been linked with a possible return to Serie A after links with Milan and Roma.

“Any discussion about the future is totally premature,” Josias Cardoso told calciomercato.it in an interview. “There is nothing concrete right now.

“I’ll be in Europe in two weeks’ time to talk to Julio, but until a club agrees something with QPR then we can’t talk to anyone else.

“A return to Italy? Julio would like to join and stay with any club who want to count on him. But I want to underline that he has a contract at QPR until 2016.

“A return to Brazil? I don’t think so. If they decide to sell him then I’d expect him to remain in the European game.”

Cesar, who joined Inter in 2005 from Flamengo, won 14 trophies with the Beneamata – including the historic treble in 2010.

The veteran will turn 34 in September.
