The Partenopei were drawn in a tough group with the Reds and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as Serbian champions Red Star.

Here are the permutations for tonight’s match.
If Napoli win
If Ancelotti’s men win at Anfield, they’ll advance to the Last 16 as group winners, with PSG following them.
If Napoli draw
A draw would also see Napoli through, but if PSG win against Red Star in Belgrade then they’d go through in second place.
If Napoli lose
This is where it could get complicated. If the Partenopei lose and Paris Saint-Germain don’t win, Napoli could still qualify.
If PSG lose, Napoli will finish one point ahead, while if Liverpool, Paris and Napoli all finish on nine points, the English club would finish first on the three-way head-to-head, with second place depending on the scoreline at Anfield
Liverpool must win to have any chance of progression, and if PSG win they either have to win 1-0, or by two or more goals.
A 1-0 win would leave them level on head-to-head and goal difference with Napoli, but ahead on goals scored.
If they concede, however, Napoli would have an away goal and therefore Liverpool would have to win by two to regain the head-to-head advantage.
