The 2021-22 Scudetto will be decided on the final day of the season with both Milan and Inter still in contention for the title.

With just one match remaining, Milan, who travel to Sassuolo are on 83 points, with reigning champions Inter, hosting Sampdoria, two points further back on 81.

For Milan, the task is simple. Their two-point cushion and superior head-to-head against Inter courtesy of their 2-1 win in February means a point at the Mapei will guarantee a first Scudetto since 2010-11.

Inter face a much more complicated scenario. In their 34th match of the campaign, the Nerazzurri had the chance to overtake Milan but slipped to a shock 2-1 defeat at Bologna, thereby handing the advantage wholly to their neighbours.

Simone Inzaghi’s side have to beat Samp and hope Milan lose. If Inter fail to beat Marco Giampaolo’s side, the Rossoneri will be Serie A champions regardless.

Both matches kick off at 5 p.m. UK time. Inzaghi and Milan boss Stefano Pioli are fighting for their first-ever Scudetto as manager.

If Milan win the scudetto, I think they deserve it

I believe in terms of ref call, usually it evens out In the end, some u get , some u don’t

I just can’t stand fans complaining that refs always favour inter

I don’t use that as an excuse

What’ever happens, it’ has been a wonderful title race

    Forza inter
