Inter winger Ivan Perisic has been linked with a move to Chelsea, but both Gazzetta and Tuttosport claim the Croatia international hasn’t yet reached an agreement with the Blues.

Sportmediaset reported yesterday that Perisic had agreed personal terms with the Premier League giants ahead of a free move in the summer.

However, according to Gazzetta and Tuttosport, Chelsea are nowhere near reaching an agreement with the experienced winger, but while Tuttosport claims the Nerazzurri are confident of extending with the Croat, Gazzetta reports that Perisic is determined to leave the club in the summer.

Gazzetta insists that Juventus are among the suitors for the 33-year-old, although sources close to the Bianconeri deny the club’s interest. Newcastle United have offered the money Perisic wants, but the Croatia international intends to continue playing Champions League football and is not convinced about joining the Magpies.

Perisic agrees personal terms with Chelsea?

Perisic is unhappy with how negotiations with the Nerazzurri have unfolded. The 33-year-old wants a new €6m-a-year contract until 2024, but Inter won’t offer more than €4.5m per season for the next two years.

Perisic vented his frustration after scoring a decisive brace in the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus on Wednesday, accusing Inter of waiting for too long before making a contract extension offer.

  1. The way Perisic is playing, a 2-yr 6 mil contract with zero transfer fee ain’t a bad deal at all. Amazed that Juve isn’t looking at the player. There is no other better winger available for free.
