Tuttosport and La Stampa report Massimiliano Allegri and Cristiano Giuntoli ‘calmly’ analysed Juventus‘ loss against Sassuolo on Sunday, but stressed that it would be wrong to ‘waste three months of work in one game.’

The Old Lady returned to training on Sunday in the aftermath of a 4-2 loss against Sassuolo.

Tuttosport and La Stampa report both Giuntoli and Allegri spoke to players at Continassa yesterday. The Turin-based newspapers claim the coach and the director had a calm approach and did not raise their voices inside the dressing room.

Nevertheless, Giuntoli insisted that Juventus were “too ugly to be true” in Reggio Emilia stressing that “three months of work can’t be wasted in a game.”

Giuntoli spoke to Allegri and his staff members and had one-to-one meetings with the most influential players inside the dressing room, according to Tuttosport.

Allegri showed videos of some errors made by players in the game against Sassuolo, insisting that the team must remain “balanced” whether they win or lose.

The Italian tactician will hold a pre-match press conference at 12:00 CEST today, on the eve of a home Serie A game against Lecce.
