West Ham United have offered €20m for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, it’s reported, so now they must convince the player to accept.
The Serbia international is only under contract until the end of the current season, so the Viola are desperate to get the sale over the line.
According to the latest reports in Italy, West Ham have increased their proposal to €20m.
Fiorentina are happy to accept, the only concern now is getting Milenkovic to accept the transfer to the Premier League side.
The 23-year-old joined from Partizan Belgrade in 2017 for €5m, plus 10 per cent of any future fee.
He has also been linked with Juventus and Sevilla, but they are not prepared to pay as much as West Ham.
The Tuscans already have his replacement in hand, namely Matija Nastasic, who is available from Schalke 04 for a minimal fee.
He too is out of contract in June 2022 and it represents a return to the Stadio Franchi, where he played in 2011-12.
Fiorentina, il West Ham aumenta il pressing su Milenkovic. Pronti 20 milioni. Intesa vicina tra i club. Intermediari al lavoro anche per l’ingaggio del giocatore
