Inter are said to be in negotiations with West Ham United to send striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to the Premier League.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, the talks are speeding up for a January move.
Gabigol was a €29.5m purchase from Santos in the summer of 2016, but he failed to even start a single Serie A game, scoring one goal.
Loaned out to Benfica, that experience was also cut short after six months and he rediscovered his scoring boots and confidence back at Santos.

That loan expired this month and the 22-year-old hitman scored 18 goals in 35 league games.
The Premier League could well suit his characteristics, as the Coaches he worked with at Inter and Benfica suggested tactics and a strong work ethic were not his strong points.
Inter already struck a deal with West Ham United last season for Joao Mario, but the option to buy was not activated and he returned to San Siro.
It is likely Gabigol will move with a similar formula, as he is under contract with Inter until June 2021, but obviously they would prefer to make it a permanent sale.
