West Ham reignite interest in Juventus exile Kostic

West Ham have reportedly expressed interest in Juventus outcast Filip Kostic in the final 48 hours of the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old Serbian wing back has not taken part in either of the Bianconeri’s opening two fixtures against Udinese and Bologna, being left on the bench by Massimiliano Allegri.

Juventus are now looking for any last-minute suitors for Kostic, who has three years left on his contract in the Piedmont capital.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juventus and Kostic’s agent Alessandro Lucci contacted West Ham to sound out a possible deal and exploratory talks are now taking place.

The main problem is the limited time left in the summer transfer window, which closes in Italy on September 1 at 20.00 local time.

Roma have also expressed interest in Kostic but would only be able to make a move should Leonardo Spinazzola depart.

Juventus have put a €15m price tag on the Serbian wing back and are open to a loan deal with a buy option attached.
