Inter, Roma, Lazio and Juventus face competition from West Ham, as it’s reported Olivier Giroud is threatening to leave Chelsea in January.

France coach Didier Deschamps advised him to find a new club where he can get more playing time ahead of the European Championship next summer.

It is a repeat of the situation from last season, but every time he seems to be on the verge of leaving, Giroud commits to Chelsea.

One of the reasons is that his family is so settled in London after many years with clubs based in the English Capital.

One of the reasons is that his family is so settled in London after many years with clubs based in the English Capital.

That may well be the biggest threat to the hopes of Serie A clubs for the 34-year-old, as The Sun reports that West Ham United are the favourites to sign Giroud.

The 34-year-old would therefore not have to move house or try a new league.

If he were to come to Inter, Roma, Lazio or Juventus, it’d be as third or fourth choice striker too, so not much of an improvement on his current Chelsea situation.
