West Ham United are trying again for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, reportedly offering €18m for the Serbia international.

The centre-back is into the final season of his contract with the Viola, which expires in June 2022, and seems to have no intention of signing an extension at the Stadio Franchi.

The Hammers had already tried to snap up the centre-back last term and again in January, so are now trying yet again.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the proposal is circa €18m, whereas Fiorentina would like to earn at least €25m from his sale.

The 23-year-old joined Fiorentina in 2017 for €5m, but 10 per cent of any future sale must go to Partizan Belgrade.

Milenkovic has 28 senior caps under his belt for Serbia and has also been linked with Juventus, Napoli and Lazio on the transfer market.

He made 34 Serie A appearances this season, contributing three goals and one assist for the Tuscans.
