Torino coach Ivan Juric has been presented with a lucrative contract offer from Championship side West Bromwich Albion according to reports from Tuttosport on Monday morning.

The Torino boss will be out of contract at the end of the 2023-24 season, having penned a three-year deal when joining from Hellas Verona in 2021.

Last week, Juric made a surprise announcement during a press conference, that he would not renew his contract in Turin without securing European football this season.

Juric has guided Torino to two 10th place finishes over the last two Serie A campaigns.

In a surprise twist, Tuttosport report that West Brom have offered Juric an enticing contract worth €2m per season in wages.

West Brom are set to be taken over in a €70m (£60m) deal by American businessman Shilen Patel according to reports in the UK.

The Baggies currently sit in fifth place in the Championship play-off spots on 49 points from 30 matches, but are already 26 points behind the league leaders, Enzo Maresca’s Leicester City, and sit 15 points off Southampton in the other automatic promotion place.

This is not Juric’s first contact with an English side, as Nottingham Forest had also considered appointing him as a replacement for Steve Cooper, Tuttosport claim.

In the event that Juric does decide to leave Torino in the coming weeks, the board reportedly have three names in mind to replace him: Gennaro Gattuso of Marseille, Paolo Vanoli of Serie B side Venezia, or Monza coach Raffaele Palladino.
