“It's a shame about the draw, we were inches from victory,” said Anderson post match, in quotes picked up today by Lalaziosiamonoi.it,

“But it's still going to be a special and memorable day for me. Scoring a goal in my derby debut is something wonderful, an emotion that I've been dreaming of since the first day I took up the Lazio jersey.

“I know that everybody had high expectations for me. This was an exam for me, and thanks to God I've once again been able to help my team.

“The substitution? I did receive a very strong blow to the leg, and I worried about it right away because I couldn't run properly. Eventually I had to walk off the pitch, but I don't think it's be anything serious.”

The goalscorer also commented on Francesco Totti's celebration after equalising, as the Roma captain took a selfie right after scoring the goal.

“We could have reduced the gap of six points with Roma. But everything can still happen, we'll keep going and we'll see who looks best when the final picture is taken.”
