Pietro Doca, associate of former Parma owner Rezart Taci, reveals the club was sold for only €1, with debts still remaining as ‘the problem’.

The Ducali were sold last week to – as confirmed today – Giampietro Manenti, amid continued financial struggles which have left staff and players unpaid since last summer.

Doca, who was nominated by Taci as President of the Dastraso Holding, said the club earned them practically no revenue from the sale.

Doca, who was nominated by Taci as President of the Dastraso Holding, said the club earned them practically no revenue from the sale.

“We sold the club for €1, which is what we paid too,” he revealed to ANSA, as reported by Calciomercato.it.

“The problem are the debts.”
