Milan took to social media to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant two years after his death: ‘We miss you, forever Rossonero.’

The NBA legend lost his life in a helicopter crash with other eight people, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

The helicopter crashed into the side of a mountain in Calabasas, about 30 miles (48 km) northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Bryant was partly raised in Italy and had a strong bond with the Belpaese. He spoke fluent Italian and was a Milan fan.

The Rossoneri paid tribute to the LA Lakers legend on Twitter, sharing a picture of Kobe wearing a Milan jersey.

“We miss you, dear friend,” Milan wrote. “Forever Rossonero.”
