Cristian ‘Cuti’ Romero has returned to training with Atalanta while talks between La Dea and Tottenham over his transfer are ongoing.
Spurs are pushing to sign the defender and according to reports in Argentina, the two clubs have agreed a deal worth €50m plus €5m in bonuses.
Romero is willing to move to North London but returned to training with Atalanta today after his holidays.

The 23-year-old was part of the Argentina team that won the Copa America in the summer and joined his teammates today along with new signing Juan Musso today.
Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini provided an update over Romero’s future on Saturday.
“We’ll see what his position is, then, of course, there is a negotiation in progress between the two clubs. We’ll see what the evaluations will be if he does leave,” the Italian coach said.
