Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini is receiving praise from Giallorossi fans on social media, not only for his brace against CSKA Sofia, but also for a special gift he made at the end of the game.
Last night, Pellegrini scored two goals in Roma’s opening UEFA Conference League group stage game at the Stadio Olimpico.
The former Sassuolo star has scored five goals in six games in all competitions so far this season.
After the game against CSKA Sofia, Pellegrini noticed a kid greeting every Roma player leaving the pitch, so he walked towards him to gift him his jersey.
In a video shared on Twitter by Il Corriere dello Sport journalist Jacopo Aliprandi, you can see Pellegrini pointing the kid, telling the fans around him to leave his shirt to him before throwing it in the stands.
Pellegrini, who was linked with Tottenham over the summer, sees his contract expire in the summer, but José Mourinho is confident the Italian midfielder will soon put pen to paper on a new deal with the Giallorossi.

Cute, though twitter comments say the guy whose shoulders the kid is on is the players’ barber, and this isn’t the first time this has happened, so he’s basically just giving it to a friend rather than a random kid.
