A late derby equaliser made Paul Gascoigne a Lazio legend – as the England icon turns 55, relive his dramatic strike against Roma in 1992 and that tearful celebration.

Today is the 55th birthday of Gazza, who hung up his boots in 2004 and spent three seasons as a Lazio fan favourite from 1992 to 1995.

Part of the reason he is still so fondly remembered by the Biancocelesti supporters is the goal he scored to hold arch-rivals Roma in the Derby della Capitale in November 1992.

It was one of only six goals he scored in 47 competitive games for the Serie A side.
