Off the back of beating Juventus 1-0 at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening, Napoli supporters were certainly in celebratory spirits as fans congregated to welcome the squad back upon their return to Naples.
Despite touching ground at the Capodichino military airport at around 2.20 am in the early hours of Monday morning, an estimated 10,000 supporters were in attendance to celebrate with the Napoli players.
Four more points will mathematically guarantee the Scudetto for the Partenopei, however if Luciano Spaletti’s side beat Salernitana on Saturday and Lazio fail to beat Inter, the title will be theirs this weekend.
Reason enough to celebrate for the Napoli supporters, who have had to wait over 30 years since their last league title.
