Russian side Rubin Kazan poked fun at Juventus following their 5-1 loss to Napoli, referring to their previous interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Bianconeri explored a deal for the Georgian winger back in 2019 after he was highlighted by Maurizio Sarri, but decided against a move.

Napoli picked up Kvaratskhelia last summer from Dinamo Batumi for around €10m, a bargain price. Since his arrival, the 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 20 games, seeing his market value shoot up.

Rubin Kazan posted a video on their TikTok showing Kvaratskhelia wearing a Juventus shirt, with the caption: “Juve in 2021: €20m is too much for him.”
