Cristiano Ronaldo started and finished the perfect Portugal counter-attack for his 107th international goal, giving them the lead against Germany.

The Juventus star may be 36, but he showed that he’s still got what it takes at the delayed Euro 2020 tournament.

It was a CR7 header to clear in his own penalty area that started the move, then he finished it by running the length of the pitch to be in the right place, meeting a Diogo Jota roll across the six-yard line.

The goal was his 19th between World Cup and European Championship tournaments, allowing Ronaldo to equal Miroslav Klose’s all-time record for a European player.

It also took him to 107 international goals, only two shy of Iranian Ali Daei’s record of 109.
