Today is the 56th birthday of former Milan star George Weah, making it the perfect time to remember some of his best moments in a Rossoneri shirt.

The Liberian forward spent five years of his career with the Milanese club from 1995 to 2000, winning two Scudetti with the club in that time. Weah also won the 1995 Ballon d’Or, a just reward for his incredible on-pitch exploits.

Weah made 147 appearances across all competitions for Milan, scoring 58 goals and providing 37 assists, before leaving for the Premier League at the turn of the millennium.
