Juventus are gearing up for their Europa League play-off clash with FC Nantes and Paul Pogba was seen on the pitch in Continassa, showing some positive signs.

The 29-year-old French midfielder has been out of action for the entire season after suffering a knee injury during the pre-season tour in the United States. After an unsuccessful attempt at a conservative treatment plan, Pogba underwent surgery in September and has been slowly working on his recovery since.

Pogba was seen warming up on his own at Juventus’ training centre in Continassa today, but he later joined his teammates for their training match, giving him the slimmest of hopes for joining the squad for their European encounter with Nantes.

Juan Cuadrado and Leonardo Bonucci also returned for Juventus, allowing coach Massimiliano Allegri to breath a sigh of relief.
