José Mourinho took identical selfies before and after the Rome derby yesterday: ‘When you know you will win before the match…’
The Special One won his first derby della Capitale yesterday, beating Lazio 3-0 thanks to goals from Tammy Abraham (two) and Lorenzo Pellegrini. Roma have now climbed to the fifth spot in Serie A, but remain eight points behind fourth-placed Juventus with eight games remaining.
Mourinho celebrated Roma’s win on social media, where he posted two identical selfies taken yesterday. The first one was taken in the team bus before the match, the second one in the mixed zone area at the Stadio Olimpico. Remarkably, the two pictures look exactly the same and Mourinho has an explanation for it.
“When you know that you win before the match, the bus picture and the dressing room picture are very similar,” wrote the Special One after a special victory,
