Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio met Davide Frattesi in Modena yesterday and many see his Instagram post as a transfer hint for the Old Lady.
The former Italy midfielder posted a few pictures with the Sassuolo starlet from one of his Sushi restaurants in Modena last night. Frattesi has recently been linked with a move to Juventus, although Inter have also set their sights on the 22-year-old. Frattesi has managed four goals and three assists on his debut season in Serie A this term.
Marchisio is one of his idols and his versatility has made him earn comparisons with the former Juventus midfielder. Frattesi gifted his Sassuolo shirt to Marchisio last night and the ex-Juve star shared some pictures on social media, one of them in black and white. “Trust the process,” Marchisio wrote on Instagram using crown and eyes emojis.
Many Juventus fans commenting on the Instagram post saw it as a transfer hint from Marchisio as the Bianconeri are on the lookout for a new central midfielder in the summer. Paul Pogba, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ryan Gravenberch and Nicolò Zaniolo have also been linked with a move to Turin.
