Diego Armando Maradona Junior had dinner with Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti last night and posted the picture of their meeting on social media.

Spalletti held a lecture at the Federico II University in Naples yesterday and then took some time off to meet one of the sons of the legendary striker, who died on November 25, 2020.

Diego Armando Jr. posted a picture with the Tuscan tactician at a restaurant in Naples, writing: ‘Thanks for your availability, Luciano Spalletti, you are a nice person and talking to you always enriches me. Forza Napoli sempre.’

Napoli’s Scudetto dreams are still alive despite a 3-2 home defeat against Fiorentina on Sunday.

The Partenopei are on even points with Inter in second place, but the Nerazzurri could leapfrog them and table leaders Milan by winning their game in hand against Bologna later this month.

Napoli will host José Mourinho’s Roma on Monday, April 18. The Partenopei haven’t won the Serie A title since 1989-90, during Maradona’s era.
