Lazio sent Tottenham Hotspur a message on social media after Spurs’ 3-2 win against Leicester last night.

Antonio Conte’s side were 2-1 down with a few seconds remaining, but a Steven Bergwijn brace helped the former Inter coach snatch the three points and extend his unbeaten run in North London.

Italian media have described the match as the ‘most incredible’ Premier League game of the season and Lazio have also reacted on social media to Tottenham’s win.

The Biancocelesti wrote a message to the North Londoners asking if their former striker Felipe Caicedo had inspired Conte’s men.

“What a great comeback against Leicester! So, have you been inspired by someone?” Lazio wrote on Twitter.

The Serie A side refers to their remarkable comeback win against Cagliari in 2019, similar to Tottenham’s last night.

The Biancocelesti, who were coached by Simone Inzaghi at that time, were 1-0 down at the Sardegna Arena but managed to win the match thanks to late goals from Luis Alberto and Caicedo.

The striker, who is now contracted with Genoa, netted the winner at minute 98.
