Inter star striker Lautaro Martinez apologised to Inter fans after their 2-0 defeat against Sassuolo at the Stadio Meazza yesterday.

The Nerazzurri failed to leapfrog Milan on top of the Serie A table and remain two points behind their city rivals with a game in hand.

The Argentinean striker scored his last Serie A goal against Salernitana on December 17 and hasn’t found the net in 13 Champions League matches. His last goal in Europe dates back to November 2020.

Lautaro apologised to Inter’s Curva after the game against Sassuolo yesterday.

Inter return to the pitch on Friday against Genoa before facing Milan in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Milan on Tuesday, March 1.

  1. I do not know why the Fans wont give this guy a break, what’s the point of putting too much pressure on him. He’s a very very good player and need to feel wanted so he can preform.

  2. Lautaro is indeed a very good player. I think he need some rest and let Alexis play more.
    He will soon get back at his best
