Juventus hosted a party in Turin to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Agnelli family takeover, with various legends like Zinedine Zidane and Alessandro Del Piero turning up for the festivities.
The Bianconeri were taken over by Edoardo Agnelli, the son of FIAT founder Giovanni Agnelli, in July 1923, changing the course of history in Italian football.
At the PalaAlpitour in Turin, Juventus hosted a large party called ‘Together, a Black & White Show’, featuring various events to celebrate the last 100 years of the club.
Most exciting for fans was the friendly match between two squads filled with Bianconeri legends. Below are the two squads.
Juventus White: Peruzzi, Torricelli, Iuliano, Conte, Matri, Montero, Barzagli, Marchisio, Zidane – Platini (coach).
Juventus Black: Storari, Carrera, Di Livio, Pepe, Ravanelli, Ferrara, Evra, Mandzukic, Davids, Del Piero – Lippi and Pessotto (coaches).
Gianluca Vialli, who sadly passed away in January, was remembered by the fans present and was given a loud round of applause.
