Inter ultras unveiled banners outside the Nerazzurri’s training ground to show their support for Lautaro Martinez and Samir Handanovic.
The duo is under fire after Inter’s disappointing results over the last month. Lautaro has yet to score a goal in 2022, while some fans and media have blamed Handanovic for conceding goals that, apparently, he could have avoided.
Inter ultras showed their support for the striker and the goalkeeper by unveiling some banners outside the team’s training ground this morning.
‘Samir, don’t worry about them, the [Curva] Nord is with you,” one of the banners read.
The one for Lautaro was written in Spanish and translates into: ‘Hold on, Lautaro, we are with you.’
Inter collected just one point in the last three matches and lost 2-0 against Liverpool in the Champions League. They are two points behind Serie A table leaders Milan but with a game in hand.
There was also a third banner aimed at the team, which read: ‘With strength, you win battles, with the character you win the war. The Nord is with you.’
