Former Inter and Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o has sparked controversy after a video posted online showed the president of the Cameroonian FA seemingly kicking a supporter.

Eto’o was leaving the Stadium 974 in Doha after watching Brazil beat South Korea in the Round of 16 of the World Cup when he was approached by various supporters, looking for selfies and to share a moment with the former striker.

The president of the Cameroonian FA was then seemingly bothered by a lone video maker, who was asking questions about the officiating in Cameroon’s World Cup play-off win over Algeria, and after a verbal disagreement he aggressively approached the fan, seemingly kicking him at one point.

Eto’o has already been under fire in recent weeks after the way he handled the situation with Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana, who withdrew from the tournament after just one game following tactical disagreements with coach Rigobert Song.
