Inter swiftly returned to Italy after their Supercoppa Italiana victory over Napoli, landing in Milan this morning.
The Nerazzurri edged out a tense 1-0 win over the Partenopei in the final in Riyadh on Monday night after a 91st minute strike from captain and talisman Lautaro Martinez. It was coach Simone Inzaghi’s fifth Supercoppa title, setting a new record.
Inter wasted no time after their victory, quickly flying home to Italy to start preparing for their Serie A clash with Fiorentina on January 28.
