Atalanta star Robin Gosens scored a spectacular acrobatic volley for Germany against Portugal, but it was disallowed.
The winger turns 27 next month and thought he’d given himself an early birthday present with this Euro 2020 strike.
It was not an unfamiliar sight for Atalanta fans, as he often pops up at the back post, this time with a flying volley from a tight angle.
After all, he found the net 12 times with eight assists in 44 competitive games for Atalanta this season.
However, it didn’t count, as there was an offside flag in the build-up for Germany.
