Some Fiorentina fans don’t seem impressed by the new crest unveiled last week and have criticised the club with some banners hung around Florence.
The Tuscans unveiled their new crest on Friday morning, receiving mixed reactions from fans. Some ultras groups have now voiced their frustration through some banners hung in the area of the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
One of the banners in front of the stadium read: “Before changing history, make it,” while the other one was placed less than 1 km away from the Franchi: “This isn’t American soccer but Italian football. Here it has a value, above all a symbol from the heart. No to the new logo.”
Fiorentina director Joe Barone clarified during the logo’s unveiling on Friday that the club’s ambition and identity won’t change, while the club crest needed to be refreshed to become more modern.
Fiorentina groups protest the club’s new logo.

Well on you Fiorentina ultras.
Good because that thing is ugly. This looks like an ugly emblem you’d see for a knock off team in FIFA.
