Former Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen has posted his first video on the pitch since the Euro 2020 incident.

The 29-year-old suffered cardiac arrest during Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland in June.

He was given life-saving aid on the pitch and had a heart starter device implanted a few days later.

For this reason, Inter and the player terminated their contract by mutual agreement in December.

Eriksen: ‘I died for five minutes’

Any contact sport is forbidden in Italy with such a device implanted, while it is possible to continue playing in other leagues, such as the Eredivisie or the Premier League.

Eriksen has never trained in Italy again but worked on the pitch with his former club Odense in Denmark and with Football Club Chiasso in Switzerland.

The former Inter and Tottenham star posted his first video on the pitch on Instagram a few hours ago.
