Paulo Dybala imitated Michel Platini’s celebration and equalled John Charles’ goal tally at Juventus.
The Argentinean striker opened the score after 11 minutes in Juventus’ Champions League group stage game against Zenit.
It was his 105th goal with the Old Lady, one more than club legend Platini.

Perhaps, that’s why the Argentinean celebrated like the former French striker, watching Juventus’ Curva Sud. He lay on the floor, holding his head with a hand.
Platini did the same back in 1985 during an Intercontinental Cup Final against Argentinos Juniors. However, that wasn’t a way to celebrate, but to protest after a wrongly disallowed goal.
Dybala also reached John Charles goal tally in a Black and White shirt, becoming the 11th best scorer in the history of the club.
I was there to watch it when Plantini did it in Tokyo. Bravo Dybala, a beautiful deja vu!
