Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé hints that he could extend his contract at the Nou Camp, despite rumours linking him with Juventus and Manchester United.

The Frenchman sees his contract expire at the end of the season and talks between the club and the player’s representative had stalled for a long time.

Dembélé’s contract extension seemed unlikely until a few months ago, but new Barcelona coach Xavi seems to have convinced the former Borussia Dortmund star to sign a new deal with the Catalans.

During this unveiling press conference, the former midfielder said that Dembélé’s extension was a priority for the club, but at the beginning of November, President Laporta said that negotiations were ‘slower than expected’ giving hope to Juventus and Manchester United.

However, the 24-year-old’s recent activity on social media seems to suggest that he is likely to sign a new agreement at the Nou Camp.

Dembélé posted Barcelona’s crest in one of his most recent Instagram stories to highlight his commitment to the club.

Perhaps, it also means that his future will be in Barcelona and not in Turin or Manchester.
