Mikkel Damsgaard was seen at Genoa Airport this afternoon ready to embark for London ahead of his transfer to Brentford.
The Premier League side are prepared to pay Sampdoria around €20m total – a €14m fixed fee with €6m in add-ons – for the talented 22-year-old winger. Damsgaard had a tough outing last season due to a serious thigh injury, so he’ll be hoping to re-discover his form with Brentford.
Damsgaard will find a number of his compatriots in West London, from coach Thomas Frank to multiple squad members like Christian Norgaard and Mathias Jensen.
