A policeman was reportedly injured as a result of clashes between groups of Fiorentina and Cagliari fans in Florence ahead of kick-off.
A video shared on social media shows the result of scuffles between the ultras of both clubs, who gathered in Viale dei Mille of Florence, armed with metal rods, wooden sticks and smoke bombs. In the midst of the clashes, a policeman was injured and several cars were damaged.
Jouranlist Andrea Losapio got a close view of the clash, sharing a video of the incident.
It is sad these grown men-children can’t act like civilized human beings over a sporting match. It is a blight upon Italy. These clubs should stamp out these lowlifes.
