Watch as Federico Chiesa showed his some of his first steps after undergoing serious knee surgery.
The 24-year-old Italian winger suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee during the 4-3 win over Roma back in January, forcing him to undergo surgery at the end of the month. He has been for ruled out of the rest of the season and there’s some concerns that the issue will affect him at the World Cup in Qatar later this year, assuming the Azzurri qualify.
Chiesa shared a video on his Instagram page showing him carefully taking small steps, accompanied by the caption: “Walking again.”
Many friends and teammates like Dusan Vlahovic and Nicolò Zaniolo immediately liked the video, leaving positive and supportive comments.
