Today is Gennaro Gattuso’s 45th birthday, making it the perfect time to remember some of his best moments with Milan.
The former midfielder started his career with Perugia in 1994 but came into his own with the Rossoneri upon his arrival in 1999. Gattuso spent 13 years in the Lombardy capital, helping the side win a number of major honours including two Scudetti and two Champions League titles.
During his time with Milan, Gattuso made 468 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 20 assists in that time. He was known to be a rock-solid midfielder, taking no nonsense on the pitch.
