Watch as Domenico Berardi seemingly chases down and confronts a fan following Sassuolo’s frustrating 3-2 loss to Modena in the first round of the Coppa Italia tonight.

The 28-year-old Italian winger played the full 90 minutes of tonight’s cup clash but despite finding the back of the net once, his efforts weren’t enough to dig the Neroverdi out of their mess.

Berardi was understandably frustrated after the defeat, and he didn’t appear to react well after coming into close contact with some angry Modena fans.

A video circulating around social media seems to show an infuriated Berardi desperately trying to shake off club staff members in order to confront a fan, who was likely sharing his anger after the match. The Italian winger breaks free and appears to chase down the supporter before eventually being pulled away.

  1. Uh oh. Should have pushed for a move when you had a chance. Now you’re an overvalued overrated 28 year old.

  2. Man the tone has changed on this site. A guy gets insulted by an idiot and reacts. I might do the same. And here three people calling an excellent football player a bum. A bit if respect guys, unless of course you all have a better character and are also better at football than Berardi.

  3. He earns a very good wage playing professionally in the top flight of Italian football. Last year he did well for Italy and helped win the European Cup. He has consistently scored lots of goals in Série A. He is obviously very good at football. Maybe not the best, but certainly an excellent player. How many right sided wingers in Italy are better than him? He’s not my favorite player either, but he is an excellent football player.
