English sixth tier side Bath City paid homage to their friendship with Serie C side Lecco with their new kits for the 2022-23 season.
The club, who currently compete in the sixth tier National League South, have had a good relationship with Lecco following their meeting in the 1977 Anglo-Italian cup final, which the Italian side won 3-0.
This unique and interesting friendship was celebrated by Bath City with their kits for the 2022-23 season – the ‘Bianconeri’ home shirt features vertical black and white stripes, whilst the ‘Bluceleste’ away shirt features a similar design to that of Lecco’s home shirts.
The kits were revealed with a wonderful callback to the popular ‘Football Italia’ show of the 1990’s, which can be seen below.
