Tammy Abraham escaped a second yellow for a high-foot on Piotr Zielinski during the 0-0 draw between Roma and Napoli on Sunday.
One week after Antoine Griezmann received a red card in Milan’s group in the Champions League, as he went from hero to villain after a high foot on Roberto Firmino when Atletico Madrid lost to Liverpool.
A similar incident occurred in the match between Roma and Napoli in Serie A on Sunday, when Abraham was already on a yellow, but VAR didn’t intervene.
The English striker might have been lucky to continue, while both Jose Mourinho and Luciano Spalletti were shown red cards by referee Davide Massa.
