The Argentinian striker last year signed a new deal with the Nerazzurri to keep him at San Siro until 2019, and his representative explained how the agreement came about.
“Representing someone like Mauro is easy,” Wanda Icardi explained to Hola.
“The best clubs in the world want him. In the first meeting I had with Inter, I increased his value five times.

“The best clubs in the world want him. In the first meeting I had with Inter, I increased his value five times.
“I remember we had a private plane waiting, and if Inter had refused the negotiations we’d have immediately gone to Madrid or Paris, where the best teams wanted him.
“But [Coach] Roberto Mancini had requested that Mauro’s situation be resolved. The second meeting was held at the training ground.
“I arrived with my accountant and Mauro’s teammates thought I was mad! They didn’t understand what I was doing there.”
