Milan continue their negotiations for Ricky Kaka, but it’s reported Real Madrid have set a €25m price-tag and the club is still discussing his wage demands.
The Rossoneri have confirmed they are in talks to bring the 30-year-old Brazilian back to San Siro, although they hope to take him on loan.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid have set a €25m price-tag that has already been enough to scare off a €6m proposal from LA Galaxy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport instead claims that the clubs have a basic agreement for a 24-month loan that will be thrashed out in Madrid on Tuesday.
With this in mind, Sky Sport Italia suggest Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani wants a guarantee from Kaka that the wage demands will be extremely low before progressing further.
Kaka has already hinted he is willing to take a pay cut to help the move go through.
According to the latest reports, Milan want to take him on loan until June 2015 with €15m net wages to be spread out over the course of that contract.
It would mean Kaka giving up on €10m worth of wages during that period, practically halving his pay packet.
